AFCAT Education Qualification Details
1. AFCAT Flying Branch -
- Candidates Must have scored a minimum of 60% (First Class) marks each in Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 (12th) level
- Graduation / Graduate Pass with a minimum of three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum at least 60% Marks OR BE / B.Tech Degree Four Year Course with at least 60% Marks.
2. AFCAT Ground Duty (GD Technical) -
- (I) Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) - A Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics subjects at 10+2 (12th) level And A minimum of Four years degree Course Graduation / Post Graduation qualification in Engineering or Technology from recognized University. OR
- Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following Given disciplines -

3. AFCAT General Duty (GD Non Technical Entry)
- (I) Administration Branch & Logistics Branch - Candidates must have Graduate Degree (Minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers.
- (II) Accounts - B.Com Degree (Minimum three years Commerce degree course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.

1. Flying Branch (Men & Women)
- Minimum Height - 162.5 Cm
- Leg Length - Minimum 99 Cm to Maximum 120 Cm
- Thigh Leg - Maximum 64
- Sitting Height - 81.5 to 96 Cm
2. Ground Duty (Both Technical & Non Technical)
- Minimum Height - 157.5 Cm for Men & 152 Cm for Women Candidates
- Weight - Proportionate to Height and Age

3. Medical Examination -
Selected Candidates in Online Examination and AFSB 1st & 2nd Stage Undergoes Medical Examination at Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru and Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME).
After the Medical Examination, a final merit list will be prepared by the AFSB Board and the selected candidates will be join any of the Air Force training establishments given.

Once you have successfully complete the AFCAT Training & assessment, you will be Allotted either of the three branches based on your performance.
- Flying Branch - 85,372 /- Per Month
- Ground Duty (Technical) - 74,872 /- Per Month
- Ground Duty (Non Technical) - 71,872 /- Per Month
Other Allowances
- Flying Allowance for Fling Branch - 11,500 /- PM
- Technical Allowances for Technical Branch - 2,500 /- PM
