Education Qualification

• Who Can Apply - Passed Senior Secondary Exam 10+2 (12th) Pass with 70% Marks in PCM and also 50% Marks in English in 10th or 12th standard Candidates can apply for Indian Navy officers entry 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry. JEE (Mains Examination) rank has been made compulsory to apply for 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet entry. This entry is opened twice a year. NHQ prepares and releases the advertisement in Employment News Paper / Important Newspapers for inviting applications  6-8 months prior to the commencement of the B.tech Entry course. Post receipt of applications, candidates are Shortlisted for SSB based on  JEE (Main) Marks – All India Rank for BE / B Tech curriculum. Validity of the JEE (Main) rank for applying for the scheme is one year from the date of declaration of the JEE (Main) ranking by CBSE / NTA. On completion of all SSB, merit list is prepared in respect of all SSB qualified candidates and candidates are thereafter appointed in order of merit based on no. of vacancies (Approximately 200)

Candidates are Shortlisted for Service Selection Board based on JEE (Main) Marks – All India Rank for BE / B Tech curriculum. Validity of the JEE (Main) rank for applying for the scheme is one year from the date of declaration of the JEE (Main) ranking by CBSE / NTA. On completion of all SSB, merit list is prepared in respect of all SSB qualified candidates and candidates are thereafter appointed in order of merit based on no. of vacancies (Approximately 200)

Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Salary

• The CTC for a Sub-Lieutenant would be approximately Rs. 83,448/- to Rs. 96,204/- per month. This includes Basic Pay, DA, Military Service Pay, House Rent Allowance (HRA 24% as per classification of cities) and Transport allowance.
