Indian Navy Musicians Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed Class X (10th Standard) (Matriculation Examination) and should have proficiency in Western notation, aural aptitude and basic knowledge in theory of Music. Should also have actual practical skill on any Western classical or Wind / Percussion Instrument.
• Age Criteria - The age of candidate should be between 17 years to 25 years on the day of enrollment into the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy Musicians Selection Process

1. Selection of recrutment based on the order of merit on their performance in Preliminary Screening Board and Final Screening Board.
2. PFT - Physical Fitness Test 
3. Initial and Final Medical Exam

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Qualify in PFT Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for Selection in Indian Navy.
Running 1.6 Km Run in 7 Minutes.
20 Squats (Uthak-Baithak)
10 Pushups.

 About The Indian Navy Musicians Jobs

Candidates will be required to play musical instruments as a part of naval band during ceremonial parades and other official function. Naval band also has performed all over the world.

 Indian Nay Musicians Salary

• Pay and Allowances - During the initial training period of Matric Recruts Musicians Batch, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs  21,700- Rs  69,100). In  addition, they  will  be paid MSP @ Rs 5200/-per month plus DA (as applicable).
