Eligibility Conditions

Online Applications are Invited Unmarried Male Candidates (Who Full Fill Eligibility Conditions as laid Down by Government of India)  for Enrollment as a Sailor AA and SSR Posts.

No. of Vacancy - Artificer Apprentice 500 (Approximately) & Senior Secondary Recruits 2500 (Approximately) Twice in a Year.

Education Qualification

• Artificer Apprentice (AA) - Qualified 10+2 (12th) Examination with 60% or More Marks in Aggregate with Physics and Maths and at list one of this Subject Chemistry,Biology and Computer Science From the Boards of Education Recognized by the Government of India
• Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - Qualified 10+2 (12th) Examination with Physics and Maths and at list one of this Subject Chemistry,Biology and Computer Science From the Boards of Education Recognized by the Government of India.
• Age Criteria - Minimum age 17 to Maximum Age 20 Years Students Can Apply

Indian Navy SSR AA Selection Process

Indian Navy SSR (Senior Secondary Recruits) and AA (Artificer Apprentice) Posts Contain Three Stages to Join as A Sailors in Indian Navy.

1. Written Examination (Computer Based Examination)
2. PFT - Physical Fitness Test
3. Medical Examination
4. Final Merit List - For AA All India Merit will be Prepared and SSR State wise Merit List will be Prepared.

Exam Language - Hindi and English
Exam Duration - 60 Minutes
Total Question - 100
Total Marks - 100
Negative Marking - (-0.25) Every Wrong Answer

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Qualify in PFT Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for Selection in Indian Navy.
Running 1.6 Km Run in 7 Minutes
20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
10 Pushups

Indian Navy SSR AA Salary

• Pay & Allowances - During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/-per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs  21,700- Rs  69,100). In  addition, they  will  be paid MSP @ Rs 5200/-per month plus DA (as applicable) plus X Group pay (only for Artificer Apprentice) @  Rs. 6200/-per month  plus  DA  (as applicable).
