Indian Navy MR Eligibility Criteria

Online Applications are Invited Only Unmarried Male Candidates (Who Full Fill Eligibility Conditions as laid Down by Government of India) for Enrollment as a Sailor Matric Recruit MR Post.

No. of Vacancy - Matric Recruit 400 Vacancies (Approximately) Twice in a Year.

Job Profile -

1. Chef (MR) - They/You will be required to prepare food as per Menu (Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Including Handling of meet products) and accounting of ration. In Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement.
2. Steward (MR) - They/You would be required to serve food in the officers mess, as waiters, Housekeeping, Accounting of Funds, Wine and Stores, Preparation of Menu and etc. In Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement.
3. Sanitary Hygienist (MR) -  They/You will be Required to Maintain Hygiene in Wash Rooms and other Areas in Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement.

Education Qualification

• Matric Recruit MR - Candidate Must Have Passed (10th) Matriculation Examination from The Boards of Education Recognised by Government of india. 
• Age Criteria - The Age of Chef, Steward, Hyginiest Candidates should be Between 17-20 Years on The Day of Enrollment into the Indian Navy. 

Indian Navy MR Selection Process

Indian Navy MR (Matric Recruts) Contains Three Stages to Join As a Sailor MR into the Indian Navy.

1. Written Exam (Computer Based Examination)
2. PFT - Physical Fitness Test
3. Medical Examination
4. Final Merit List

Written Examination (Computer Based Examination) 

Exam Type - Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type) 

Exam Language - Hindi and English

Exam Duration - 30 Minutes

Total Question -50

Total Marks - 50 Marks

Negative Marking - (-0.25) Every Wrong Answer

Exam Based - Computer Based Examination

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Qualify in PFT Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for Selection in Indian Navy.

Running 1.6 Km Run in 7 Minutes

20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)

10 Pushups

Indian Navy MR Salary

 

Pay & Allowances - During the initial training period of Matric Recruts Batch, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/-per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs  21,700- Rs  69,100). In  addition, they  will  be paid MSP @ Rs 5200/-per month plus DA (as applicable).
