NDA Selection Process Exam Pattern



Short Information - Union Public Service Commission UPSC New Delhi, Holds Competitive Examinations for admission to the Indian Army, Navy and Air force wings of the NDA and Naval Academy, Twice a Year For the Training Course  Commencing in January and July Batches. Admission to the Indian National Academy is made on the basis of Result of Written Examination conducted by UPSC Followed by Intelligence and Personality  test by SSB Service Selection Board.

NDA Eligiblity Criteria

  • Online Applications are Invited Unmarried Male Candidates (Who Full Fill Eligibility Conditions as laid Down by Government of India)  for Join Indian National Academy NDA.
  • No. of Vacancy - Approximately 350 Posts (Army,Navy,Air force,Ground Duties)

NDA Education Qualification

  • Army Wing of National Defence Academy (NDA) - Candidate Passed or Appering  Certificate in 10+2 exams via recognized board (Government of India) 
  • Indian Air Force and Indian Navy of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: -Candidate should have passed  or Appering in Class 12th exam in the 10+2 pattern of School Education (Government of India) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board.
  • Age Criteria - Minimum Age 16 and 1/2 Years to Maximum Age 19 and 1/2 Years.

Indian National Academy NDA Selection Process Contain Four Stages to Qualify NDA Examination
  1. Written Examination
  2. SSB Interview
  3. Physical Fitness Test
  4. Final Merit List
Written Examination (Offline Based Examination)
Exam Type - Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type)
Exam Language - Hindi and English
Exam Duration - 2.30 Hours Each Section (Two Sections Included)
Total Question - 270 (120 Mathematics & 150 for General Ability Test)
Total Marks -
900 (300 Marks Mathematics & 600 Marks for General Ability Test)
Negative Marking - (-0.83) Every Wrong Answer
Exam Based - Offline Based Examination
