VOLUNTEERS FOR SUBMARINE ARM 

Candidates who yearn for the exclusive challenge of operating below the surface of Ocean in the highly technical Submarine Arm, with its associated perks & privileges, can volunteer whilst filling the online application form. Candidates who volunteer for submarine arm and are selected in merit will be considered for Submarine-specialization.The volunteers for the Submarine Arm will be subjected to Submarine Arm Medical Standards stipulated in Navy Order (Special) 01/2008.Extract of the Navy Order can be accessed from the official Indian Navy recruitment website. 

Eligibility Criteria for Submarine - Specialization

• Education Qualification - Qualified 10+2 (12th) Examination with 60% or More Marks in Aggregate with Physics and Maths and at list one of this Subject Chemistry,Biology and Computer Science From the Boards of Education Recognized by the Government of India
• Age Limit - Minimum age 17 to Maximum Age 20 Years Students Can Apply.

Training - Submarine Specialization

• Candidates selected for Submarine specialization, will be inducted as Sailors and undergo 22 weeks Naval orientation course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala followed by professional training in other Naval Training Establishments / ships. On completion of training, the candidates will have to pass Submarine Qualifying Board.
