Short Information - Women were Inducted only in the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Airforce and Navy) Medical Service till the year of 1992. From year of July 1992, the Navy started inducting women as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers in 8 selected branches of the Navy. Presently the women are inducted into the following Eight 8 branches of the Indian Navy as Officers Post.

Indian Navy Women Entry Eligiblity

 

 1. ATC (Air Traffic Contro)

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 and 1/2 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - Bachelor of Engineering BE or B.Tech degree in any discipline with 60% Marks from Recognized University and also Physics and Mathematics in 12th standard.

 2. Observer

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 and 1/2 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - Bachelor of Engineering BE or B.Tech degree in any discipline with at list 55% Marks from Recognized University and also Physics and Mathematics in 12th standard.

 

  3. Logistics

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 and 1/2 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - BE and B.Tech in any Stream with First Class OR MBA with First Class OR B.Sc, B.Com, B.Sc IT with First Class OR MCA, M.Sc First Class.

 

4. Law

• Age Criteria - Minimum 22 Years to Maximum 27 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - Candidate Should Posses The Degree in Law and Qualifying them for enrolment as Advocate Under Advocates act 1961.

 

 5. Educational Branch

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 Years to Maximum 25Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - (I) A Second Class Master Degree in Physics or Mathematics (II) A Second Class Master Degree in Chemistry or English (III) A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (IV) A Second class Master degree in computer application or computer science (V) A post graduate degree in Humanities (Economics,History, Political Science)

 

6. Naval Architecture  

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 and 1/2 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - Bachelor of Engineering BE or B.Tech degree in Following discipline with at list 60% Marks from Recognized University (I) Mechanical Engineering (II) Civil Engineering (III) Aeronautical Engineering (IV) Metallurgy (V) Naval Architecture 

 

7. Pilot

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - BE or B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics in 12th standard And A candidate holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India)

 

8. Naval Armament Inspector

• Age Criteria - Minimum 19 Years to Maximum 25 Years Can Apply
• Education Criteria - BE or B Tech Degree in Following Deplane - (I) Electrical (II) Electronics (III) Mechanical (IV) Production (V) Instrumentation (VI) IT (VII)Chemical (VIII) Metallurgy (XI) Aerospace Engineering
