Indian Coast Guard Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

 
Those Candidates who qualify the Written Examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Initial Medical Exam (Preliminary). The testing procedure will take 2-3 days. Physically Challenged Candidates are not eligible to apply for Coast Guard Examination.

• Results of the Offline examination will be announced on Same Day (After 1 to 2 hours of the Written Examination)
• Qualified Candidates will be called for PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination. (Selection of No. of Student is not Fixed, They will Select Candidates as per They Requirement)

Physical Fitness Test - 

PFT test will be Conducted for all those candidates who Qualify the Written tests. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own Risk. All candidates are advised to be in possession of sport rig (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc), Physical Fitness test Consists of 

• Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is Mandatory for the Selection
• PFT will consist of 1600 meters run to be completed in 7 minutes.
• 10 Push ups.
• 20 squats (Uthak Baithak)
• Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
• Those who qualify PFT Test are permitted to undergo Medical Examination.

Candidates Who Qualify the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will Only be required to undergo initial Recruitment Medical examination at the respective Recruitment Centers or any other place as decided by the Indian Coast Guard.
