1. Advertisement & Notification

• Indian Navy Release Advertisement & Notification for Sailors AA SSR & MR Recruitment Twice a year Published in the Employment News Paper and all Leading National and Regional News Paper in Dec & Jun Every Year so interested Candidates Can Apply for this post after the notification published.

2. Online Application Form

• The Online Application form are available on Indian Navy Official Site www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from the date of notification for the Respective batch and types of Various Posts.
• Choice of Entry is to be clearly Indicated on the Online Application Form.
• You can Apply only one Entry or Preferences for MR (Chef, Steward, Hygienist) or AA & SSR.
• For Sport Quota Entry or Musicians Can Fill Offline application & Sent a Given Address mention in Official Notification. Application revived only through ordinary post.

3. Important Documents Required

• Original 10+2 (12th) Pass or equivalent certificate for verification of Name and date of birth for (AA & SSR)
• Original 10+2 (12th) Mark sheet and certificate of 12th Standard.
• Original Matric 10th Pass certificate (MR AA SSR)
• Original Mark sheet and certificate of Matriculation as applicable. (MR AA SSR)
• Original Domicile Certificate Required for all Entries.
• Original NCC Certificate (if held)
• Passport size Recent Photograph with Blue Background.

4. Admit Card For Online Examination

• Eligible Candidates are Sent Call up cum Admit cards Indicating Date, Time and Place for Online Examination. all eligible candidates can download their admit card form Indian Navy Official Web Site.

5. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• PFT Admit Cards will be Provided from Indian navy official website Only for Selected Students in Online Examination
• Qualify in PFT Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for Selection in Indian Navy.
• PFT Consist of - Running 1.6 Km Run in 7 Minutes, 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak), 10 Pushups

6. Initial Medical Examination

• Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per the medical standards prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors and Officers Entry.
• Height Required for Join Indian Navy - For Male Candidates Minimum Height 157cm
• The candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any defect likely to the interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions as per Navy Order (Special) 01/2008. Extract  of  the Navy Order can be accessed from th official Indian Navy recruitment website.
• Note - Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax, and tartar removed from teeth prior to initial and final medical examination.
• Re-Medical - Preliminary Medical Examination for recruitment will be considered only Provisionally (Initial) fit subject to fitness in the Final Medical Examination. Final Enrolment Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be held at INS Chilka Indian Navy Training Center. Candidates who are found medically fit in Final Enrolment to Medical Examination will be enrolled. Candidates who are found medically unfit will be advised to appeal against its, if they so desire, at INHS Kalyani, Visakhapatnam or Nearest Center within a maximum period of 21 days.

7. Final Merit List and Joining Later

• The Indian Navy Send a Joining Letter and Call Up Letter For Selected Students / Qualified Students in AA SSR MR Posts. In this Letter Include Important Instructions for the Final Medical exam and Document Verification at INS Chilka
• Final Merit List - For AA Posts All India Merit will be Prepared and SSR and MR Post State wise Merit List will be Prepared.

8. Final Medical Exam and Joining as a Sailors Traning

• Final Enrolment Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be held at INS Chilka. Candidates who are found medically fit in Final Enrolment Medical Examination will be enrolled for Sailors Training
• Training - The training for the course will commence in Aug 2020, with 09 weeks for AA and 22 weeks for SSR and MR Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch / Trade will be allocated as per the requirement of Service.
