ICG Document Verification

Scrutiny of Documents for Eligibility will be carried out prior commencement of the Written Examination. Candidates are therefore required to appear at the examination Centre with the given following documents.

Selection Stages -
  1. Apply Online Application for Coast Guard Navik (GD/DB) & Yantriks Post
  2. Waiting For Admit Cards (Online Admit Cards Provided)
  3. Document Verification (Compulsory for all students to Appear in Written Exam)
  4. Written Examination
  5. PFT & Medical Examination
  6. Final Merit List
  7. Joining Letter & Instructions

List of Documents for Navik (GD/DB) & Yantriks
  1. Three Copies of E-Admit Card with latest photograph Affixed.
  2. Two Copies of Online Application form
  3. Original Class 10th pass Certificate and Mark Sheet.
  4. Original Class 12th pass Certificate and Mark Sheet. (12th Class Aggregate marks shall be calculated as best highest five including Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subject) - Only For Navik GD Candidates OR All Original Diploma Certificate and Mark sheets - For Yantriks Post
  5. Original Caste (if  applicable) / Income Certificate for EWSs (Economically Weaker Sections) as per Government of India format (No other format will be entertained) available on ICG Official Website.
  6. Domicile Certificate of their Respective State - The Permanent Address and Domicile of the Candidate should be of the Same Place / State.
  7. In Case of Reserved category Applicants, availing Age / Percentage Relaxation, Either current or Permanent Address of online Application should be same as the Address Mentioned in Caste / Category certificate (SC, ST & OBC) / Income Certificate for EWSs (Economically Weaker Sections as per Government of India format (No other Format will be Entertained) Available on ICG Official website). Further in Case of OBC, the Category certificate should not be more than 3 financial Years old and for such in cases renewed / fresh certificate to be produced shall be in original as per Government of India format (No other format will be entertained).
  8. Proof of Identity Such as Passport, Driving license, Aadhar Card / Voter I card, Pan Card, School / College ID card or any other Photo Identity proof.
  9. Ten Recent Colour Passport size photographs with Blue background
  10. Self signed Undertaking Certificate as per Format.

Important Notes - 

Candidates Not in Possession of above Documents will not be Permitted to Appear in Written Examination. Original Educational Certificates will be Returned after Verification. If any Variations found in application at the Time of verification, the Candidature of the applicant will be Cancelled. Qualified Candidates to submit one copy of Self Attested Photocopy of all Documents at the Examination Centre. Name and other particulars (Parents name, date of birth and etc) should be same on all the documents.

The Date of Issue of all Documents has to be Starting Date of Applications or any date prior to Closing date of application.- All Documents are Produced & Required before Last Date of Application.
