1. Matric Recruits (MR) - Chef (Cook) Sailors Post
2. Matric Recruits (MR) - Steward Sailors Post
3. Matric Recruits (MR) - Hygienist Sailors Post

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit for Various posts of Indian Navy 

Important Note - This is not an Officers post entry. Matric Recruit entry comes under the Sailor category in Indian Navy. In case of MR entry, the following branches and posts are available Chef, steward and Hygienist.

1. Chef (Cook) 

• They/You will be required to prepare food as per Menu (Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Including Handling of meet products) and accounting of ration. In Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement.
• Education Qualification - Candidate Must Have Passed (10th) Matriculation Examination from The Boards of Education Recognised by Government of India.
• Age Limit - The Age of Chef Candidates should be Between 17-20 Years on The Day of Enrollment into the Indian Navy. 

2. Steward 

• They/You would be required to serve food in the officers mess, as waiters, Housekeeping, Accounting of Funds, Wine and Stores, Preparation of Menu and etc. In Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement.
• Education Qualification - Candidate Must Have Passed (10th) Matriculation Examination.
• Age Limit - The Age of Steward Candidates should be Between 17-20 Years on The Day of Enrollment into the Indian Navy.

3. Hygienist

• They/You will be Required to Maintain Hygiene in Wash Rooms and other Areas in Addition, you will also allotted other Duties for Efficient running of Organisation as per Service Requirement
• Education Qualification - Candidate Must Have Passed (10th) Matriculation Examination.
• Age Limit - The Age of Hygienist Candidates should be Between 17-20 Years on The Day of Enrollment into the Indian Navy.
