Leave and Travel Concessions - 

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Officers and Naviks (Sailors) Entited and earn 45 days Annual leave and 08 days Casual leave on every year for both Officers and Sailors with Leave Travel Concession for self, family and dependent parents as per Government rules.

Medical Facilities -

Indian Coast Guard Provides Free Medical treatment for Self and Family including Dependent parents for All Eligible Officers & Naviks (Sailors)

ECHS (Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Medical facilities after retirement (only for permanent duty Officers & Naviks (Sailors) and Not admissible for SSA - Short Service Appointment Entries).

Accommodation Facilities -

Government accommodation facilities for self & family on nominal license fee. Most of the residential areas have markets, ATMs, playgrounds, swimming pool, gymnasium and etc.
House Rent Allowance Facilities (if not holding Government Accommodation) 10% - 30% of on Basic Pay as per the class of city.

Pension - 

There is a Contributory Pension Scheme existing for Officers & Naviks. Where the personnel has to contribute a portion of his Basic salary into CPS and the same amount is contributed by the government as well. and gives you a pension Facilities.

Clothing - 

Indian Coast Guard Officers & Naviks are granted allowances periodically to stitch their own uniform. All Naviks (GD/DB) are entitled for free clothing. A kit maintenance allowance is also provided to officers and sailors every month to maintain their uniform. (Kit Maintenance Allowance - Rs. 600 /- per month Provide you)

Insurance - 

ICG Officers - Insurance cover of Rs.40 Lakhs at a Premium of Rs. 4000 /- per month as Group insurance.
ICG Naviks - Insurance cover of Rs.20 Lakhs at a premium of Rs.2000 /- per month as Group insurance. (for Yantrik & Naviks)

Canteen Facilities and various loan facilities at subsidized rates.

Learn & participate in various sports and adventure activities.

Sports and adventure activities such as River rafting, Mountaineering, hot air ballooning, hang gliding and wind surfing and etc.

The Indian Coast Guard ICG is a Multi Mission Organisation and conducting round the year - Real life operations at sea. Despite being relatively small, it has a wide range of task capabilities for both surface and air operations.
